Services Schedule

Bet Haverim holds worship services every Friday evening, potluck Sabbath dinners once a month, and Saturday morning services and Torah study twice each month. In keeping with Reconstructionist ideals, worship is a collaborative effort. Congregants share service leadership duties with the Rabbi, and participation is always welcome and warmly encouraged.

Worship liturgy includes Kol Haneshamah (Voice of the Soul), the Reconstructionist siddur (prayer book) developed cooperatively by rabbis and lay members. All prayers are egalitarian and gender-neutral, and liturgy honors the contributions of women throughout our history and heritage. All of our services include special lesbian and gay liturgy as well.

Bet Haverim observes all major holidays and celebrations throughout the year. Special programming includes "Tot Shabbats," family Havdalah services, a Gay Pride Liberation Seder and many other activities.

Our service schedule for the current month can be found on our Calendars page, along with other events. Unless otherwise noted on the calendar, all worship services are held at Central Congregation Church, located at 2676 Clairmont Rd. NE in Atlanta.
